Foraging Forays

There is something particularly satisfying about finding delicious things to eat that are growing in the wild – and all free! Here at the Parlour we are lucky to have our own small holding brimming with wildlife, bountiful hedgerows and surrounded by ancient woodlands. We have also teamed up with the wonderfully knowledgeable Lucia Stuart, author, chef and illustrator, to offer foraging forays that explore the fantastic coast on our doorstep.  We have enjoyed cooking with seaweed, nettles, Elderflowers and berries, blackberries, hawthorns, sloes, wild damsons, buckthorn, wild garlic, dandelion, roses and violets and much more.  Look out for more foraging opportunities in the Parlour!
