We were delighted to win two categories in the Great British Food Awards, judged by Nathan Outlaw. We won both the best sweet bake with our Allotment cake and best savoury bake with out Leek and Kentish Blue cheese tart. It was great to receive such good feedback and hope our customers continue to enjoy them when they are served in the Parlour.

 

 

 

 

 

Thank you to everyone who voted for us in the first phase of the awards. The judges were served an array of our produce and given a presentation on the history, present day and future of the Bessie business. We are so lucky to have such a great supply of wonderful Kent produce on our doorstep to work with. Produced in Kent enable us all to network together and raise awareness of many small food producers and suppliers.
